Golf

Bring your clubs because there are two 18-hole courses near our park: Bandera Ranch and Golf Course and Flying L Guest Ranch.

Local Seasonal Events

Bandera is a happenin’ place when it comes to special events! The Annual Hunter’s Game Dinner and Dance is always a big to-do in town in the fall. There are rodeos twice weekly from April to September 1st (check Bandera CVB for more information), a Memorial Day Parade, Cowboy Mardi Gras, Western shootouts on Main Plaza in the summer, and more.

Outdoor Activities

Calling all outdoor adventurists! The Texas Hill Country is useful for more than its scenic views. Medina River and Medina Lake provide excellent waterways for canoeing or kayaking. If hiking or biking is your thing then visit nearby Hill Country State Natural Area for the best trails in the area.

Amusement Parks

Fiesta Texas and Sea World are both a short ride away from us in San Antonio, Texas.
